AND
Symphony of Swans (18 x 24, dry pastel)
I am happy to share that the two pieces posted above were accepted into the Northwest Pastel Society's show in Seattle that runs April 10th - May 8th.
Just in case you're looking for some fun shows to attend, here are a few I am aware of (yes, yes, they are all about me :) SHOW SCHEDULE
Hi Sandy,
ReplyDeleteThey are breathtaking. Congratulations on having these peaces accepted into the Northwest Pastel Society's show. Well deserved. Best of luck in the show.
Have a great weekend
Joan
Hi Joan,
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and thanks so much for the well-wishes!
These are both excellent! Are you going to the reception? Maybe we'll finally meet in person. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Kari! That's so nice of you. I wish I could go to the reception; I would love to meet you but that is the weekend I will be in Ohio for the unveiling of my great grandmother's portrait (I'm still putting the final touches on that one). Perhaps the signature show at Scott Milo?
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being accepted. Beautiful paintings - very evocative of time and weather!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! These are fantastic! I LOVE the top one particularly - That sky is amazing!!! WOW! :0D
ReplyDeletePat, thank you for stopping by and for the nice comment.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, thanks for picking a favorite :) and thanks for the nice compliment!
They are soooo beautiful! It is no surprise that they were accepted into the Show! Congratulation, Sandy!
ReplyDeleteWonderful paintings, good luck with the show!
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWe have a City Beach here as well, but the sun sets over it - no ocean sunrises in South Western Australia.
Cheers,
Cindy
I am so happy for you!! These are beautiful and will go far I am sure.
ReplyDeleteOh, I do love your work. The sunrise and the swans speak to me...Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Sandy! They are both absolutely beautiful. I'm really taken with Symphony of Swans especially. Good luck with the show.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy... I'm your newest GFC follower. I'm an artist too; I have my own cat cartoon blog at http://avalon-lion.blogspot.com. Have a lucky week.
ReplyDeleteHope the show goes well for you Sandy, sure it will. Great paintings, I just love the sunrise very tranquil.
