City Beach Sunrise

City Beach Sunrise (16 x 20 dry pastel)

It seems nearly every spot on beautiful Whidbey Island has views to offer and gorgeous sunrises and glistening waters. I just can't seem to get enough of it! This scene is from an early morning adventure to City Beach in Oak Harbor.

  9. You have the ability to take what in someone else's hands would be a very ordinary and much painted sort of subject and turn it into a sweet, unique, beautiful masterpiece...wow! And thank you for your very kind comment about my plein aire attempt At the Pier in Campbell River - it was a challenge for me and completely out of my comfort zone - not a bad thing.
