So, this time I actually have a really good reason for being away for so long.
I admit I am calling out the sympathy card a bit here, but mostly I just wanted to check in to let you all know I have been lurking but not typing much. I recently fell about 4 ft off a hill in our back yard onto our paved driveway, head first, and fractured my left elbow (I’m left handed) and sprained my right wrist. I haven’t been able to paint for awhile so the piece above is from "before the fall."
After a spell of not being able to use my arms, at least I can type now so
I’m getting back in to the swing of things (so to speak). I hope y'all are doing well.
Happy Painting; I'll be joining you soon!
Cheers,
Sandy
OH NO!!! I'm so sorry! That must have hurt so bad. It's painful just to read about. I'm glad you're on the mend. Take care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteGeez, Sandy, the things some people won't do for attention!
ReplyDeleteBut really, I am very sorry to learn about your injuries and glad that you
are recovering. Hope it doesn't take long to get your painting hand/arm back fully into the swing!
And here I thought you were basking in the sun in the Bahamas!!! Sandy, I am so sorry to hear about your fall. I'll be praying for a fast recovery! My granddaughter fell last year from the monkey bars at school and broke both her hands so I know how you feel....I love this painting that you did before the fall.!! Sandy, REST feel better and we'll be here waiting for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog today and your kind comment.
ReplyDeleteHow frustrating for an artist not to be able to paint, but glad to hear you are on the mend! I've peeked in at your other blog and absolutely love you cat paintings :-)
OMG, that is horrible! I hope your elbow and wrist are recovering nicely. You are so lucky you didn't hurt your head. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prays~
